Do you think it’s a strange particle trajectory? No, it’s a fly

I was quite amased to find the ‘sister’ technology in absolutely another field of research:Dickinson Lab
This lab has a website of MultiTrack system [http://dickinson.caltech.edu/Research/MultiTrack]

And this is not 3D-PTV (i.e .Particle Tracking Velocimetry), but a 3D-Fly Tracking system:

One of the authors, Andrew Straw [http://www.its.caltech.edu/~astraw/] also has another side which is of my personal interest – SciPy. I wish we can work together and convert 3D-PTV into seemless Python (in addition to great, but not very awesome C + Tcl/Tk version of Jochen Willneff).
