  1. Hi, I read it a half year ago, but was quite disappointed (as you might remember: https://alexl.wordpress.com/2007/02/17/cross-post-from-the-blog-of-wannabe-nerd/). Instead I enjoyed readind Michael Eckert’s “The Dawn of Fluid Dynamics”, although it got a not so good review from Gad-el-Hak. Maybe it just touched me because of the German style or its focus on Prandtl. I don’t know, but I would like to know if there are any other nice historical papers/books you could recommend.
