About turbulent kinetic energy production and dissipation in dilute polymer solutions
“About turbulent kinetic energy production and dissipation in dilute polymer solutions” is our new contribution, accepted for publication in Physics of Fluids, performed with Michele Guala, Wolfgang Kinzelbach and Arkady Tsinober. I know that you cannot wait to see the results, but I haven’t managed to squeeze it into a format suitable for arXiv. Moreover, recent flaws (thanks G.d not flows) like the “Navier Stokes solution” and story of Perelman (both have released their work on arXiv before it was reviewed for the journals) made so much waves ‘for nothing’ (at least some turbulence came out of it
) that I have decided to keep the stuff till it’s accepted. So, the hints you can see in my “TKE production in drag reducing flows” (see the menu on the left) and the long version is in preparation. If you’re very short of patience, just write me a message and I’ll send you the draft.
